We will be in Nigüelas at the edge of the natural park of Sierra Nevada enjoying nature and at mid way from the coast and the city.
We will be hosted by Silvia and David owners of the Sa Mayma farmhouse
The place is 15 minutes walking from Nigüelas village where you find local shops and from the main trekking itineraries of Sierra Nevada.
In this period of the year is still possible to enjoy the swimming pool and the water of the Mediterranean sea.
As it is not high season, we can also enjoy the quietness of the beaches of the coast where we will organize some classes in front of the sea.

The main practices
Kaula Tantra Yoga
With the rising popularity of Yoga in the recent past, many different styles and teachings have established themselves. So what does the Kaula Tantra Yoga practice offer you?
The sequence taught at our school comes straight from an ancient lineage and is based on the teachings of Bhagavan Shanmuka Anantha Natha. We work with asanas, bandhas, pranayama, mudras and mantras. Different to other practices this series is practiced in a slow and flowing manner to build patience and awareness. Each asana is held gently for a period of time to allow students to relax into the posture. This way, each individual finds their own unique way of expressing the asanas without pressure of competing or ‘performing perfectly’.
Tantra Yoga facilitators approach students as whole human beings and discourage ‘isolating’ or forcing muscles. Their priority is to hold a space of acceptance and love, with only little guidance where necessary.
Over time students learn to meditate in the postures to connect with the Divine. This yoga specifically cultures the diaphragms and thus balances every area of life, including sexuality.
Through the Tantra teachings students learn about the energetic exchange between Shiva and Shakti, the two polarities, and how to integrate sexual energy into their yoga exploration.
Please note that classes do not involve nudity or sexual contact. In the advanced stages, deeper Pranayama practice, Bandhas, and Mantra practices are incorporated to culture Kundalini Energy.
Students will learn about the metodology of Kaula Tantra Yoga through their direct experience during the practice. There will be time to share, after classes, different approaches, make questions, and dive into the understanding of Tantra Yoga.
Students are given time for self-study, reflection, and practice teaching tantra yoga classes with each other. During the course of the month students also complete a written project.
Yogic walking massage
Derived from ayurvedic wisdom this ancient foot massage was used to prepare warriors for battle as well as open and expand the physical and energetic bodies before the Yoga practice. Working with partners it’s a very effective, meditative and intuitive way to give and receive before the Yoga practice. The massage touches many important Marma Points as well as softening the muscles. will also get in touch with a little part of the Ayurvedic medicine which is the base of this practice.
(As we still need to know exactly which restrictions will be necessary for september, we will decide later if this practice will be included in the program or if we will implement other subjects)
Students explore tantra yogic lifestyle, philosophy and arts. Together we will discover ways in which to implement the yoga experience into everyday life.
We will discover the joy and the importance of support and be supported, The challenge is to take care of the sacred space dancing between me and my partner, and I experience the joy of giving and receiving.
In these classes we will keep on working on many asanas of the kaula tantra yoga serie, using the approach of tantric wisdom, in which we will focus in presence, senses, connection, body communication and in this way we will create the dance of Shiva and Shakti.
Through Kundalini yoga, as taught by Yogi Bajhan, students learn another, different, approach to energy work in yoga. Students explore kryias, pranayama, chakra theory and the practice of kryas will be focused on different chakras each time to help students feeling them.
Applied Tantric Wisdom
These classes are a powerful opportunity of self discovery. As the course is based on experience we will create active and participative classes where we will work on some of the main aspects of Tantra.
Furthermore, there will be focus on working on specific Chakras.
Intuitive anatomy and physiology
We will approach the vision and methodology of the Kaula Tantra yoga practice in these classes. We will develop a connection with our inner body intelligence, learn how to read it better and act according to it’s current needs. It’s about the combined powers of the mind and the physical body and the effect of being totally in harmony with the messages we perceive form our bodies in each moment.
is basic in the Tantra Yoga practice. We will see different approaches to meditation, learning to be present in everything we do and transform movement, breath, creativity in meditation itself….until the moment the “no doing” will become a sacred space where you can enjoy yourself
This work is a fusion of tools and experiences that can be used in art & life. Get in touch with your inner child and intuition, develop the right side of the brain and lateral thinking, release patterns and blockings, open your ears and eyes to the present moment and to others, work in group in more effective and loving ways, and increase your creativity and artistic skills by looking at things in a completely new perspective.
Singing connects you with your inner self and with the others. We sing Mantras to address different spiritual energies, we sing chants from all over the world to share these energies and to celebrate joy together.
Shamanistic rituals bring art, healing, social thinking, spirituality together. That goes deep, symbolic connections with ALL. I am the mosquito. I am the nature that surrounds me.I can dance with my power animal, and talk to a plant.
It is knowledge which has the power to transform – body is spirit, spirit is my body, my body is the earth, the sea, the wind, the fire of the sun arising from the see. What does yoga practice hast to do with Shamanism?
Talking Stick is a sharing circle that is held every week. Everyone who is part of the course will be in attendance to see, hear, and witness each other. We have found that this practice creates a social field that supports individuals to share from their hearts and help explore new possibilities in their lives. It is a safe and sacred time and space where all topics are welcome.
Karma Yoga is part of the learning process of community life. We help each other to maintain common spaces and materials, we take care of the “Pachamama”. Through karma yoga we keep in contact with the earth and its fruits as we contribute to the well being and learning of the group.
